App Usage and Social Interaction

The world is moving to digital… digital everything! From food orders to job applications, and even dating. How does this affect you? In every way possible! There has been an influx of everyday apps popping up in stores that meet any and every need possible. One of the biggest needs that just about everyone deals with is having a community. A community just happens to be what apps are moving towards meeting.

The present access to people groups and information from all over the world is in the palm of your hand. This applies to any business as well. Incorporating elements of social openness to an app, regardless of the consumer end goal is a plus! What does that mean exactly? Look at how Facebook has incorporated community comments to groups and even event pages. There seems to always be a way to comment and react to other comments from users and keep the conversation going.

Another mobile app that thrives off of this is Reddit. It is essentially a global message board for an unlimited range of topics. Countless communities have been built out of just jokes and shared content. Imagine having a specified target market, with a specific product, and the community just waiting for a way to engage with each other. That is what is in store for any and every product or app that opens up it’s doors to social interaction.
